once you have defeated the standing army on the oasis, it is yours. you can lave an army in place, just to prevent soemone else from walking in and claiming it.
but the dumb mistake i made was to send another army to plunder it again.
my army defending then fought my army plundering and i lost nearly 300 guys!
dumb dumb dumb
it is not clear on any of the forums that this will happen, anyone else who didnt know, dont make the samemistake as i did!
